Exceptionally soft and durable mineral-tanned leather with a silky feel, natural grain and excellent flexibility.

Angel Black is a premium full-grain saddlery leather made from carefully selected bovine hides. Unpressed and uncorrected, it retains the natural character of the leather while offering an exceptionally soft and supple handle.

The leather features an aniline finish, preserving its natural appearance and texture. It is dyed throughout and has a distinctive velvet-like flesh side, giving the leather an attractive appearance from both sides.

Despite its softness, Angel is highly durable and designed to maintain its supple, silky feel even when subjected to frequent movement and heavy use.

Origin & Traceability

Angel Black hides are sourced from selected cattle and bulls originating in France, Germany, Spain and Italy.

The leather is produced under the traceability system of the Radermecker Tannery, covering the sourcing of the hides, tanning, finishing and associated quality controls.

Full Grain & Nubuck

The full-grain version retains the original grain surface of the hide, preserving its natural character and durability.

The nubuck version is lightly sanded on the grain side to create a soft, velvety touch. This process maintains much of the leather's natural breathability and flexibility while giving it a distinctive suede-like feel.

Care & Maintenance

Angel leather is designed to remain supple throughout its life, but occasional nourishment can help preserve its appearance and extend its service life.

When the leather begins to feel dry, apply an appropriate leather conditioner to the grain side. This helps replenish the leather between and around the pores, much like moisturizing dry skin.

Angel has good resistance to moisture. If the leather becomes wet, allow it to dry naturally at room temperature and avoid direct heat sources.

Lightly moistening the leather can temporarily increase its elasticity and flexibility. During drying, some natural shrinkage may occur, but this should not compromise the leather's characteristic softness and supple hand.
